WHITTIER NARROWS, CA (August 27, 2022) – One person was killed in a three-car accident near Gallatin Road and Rosemead Boulevard late Saturday afternoon.
 
The fatal accident happened around 5:37 p.m. on August 27 in the Whittier Narrows area. According to the California Highway Patrol, three vehicles collided near the intersection in unclear circumstances.
 
When officers arrived, they found at least one fatality as a result of the accident.
 
The identity of the deceased was withheld at this time.
