Fiery Crash Involving Two Vehicles on West Obama Boulevard Leaves One Person Dead

 
WEST ADAMS, CA (April 28, 2024) – One person died and three others were injured in a fiery two-vehicle accident on West Obama Boulevard in the West Adams area of Los Angeles early Saturday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 2:55 a.m. on April 27, at the intersection with Sixth Avenue. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, two vehicles collided for unknown reasons.
 
Responding firefighters and determined that one of the vehicles sheared a fire hydrant and subsequently slammed into a house, which then caught on fire.
 
One person suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. The identity of that victim was not immediately available.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics transported a 30-year-old woman, an 18-year-old-man and a 19-year-old woman to a regional trauma center with unspecified injuries.
 
At this time, the circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
