SANA ANA, CA (January 5, 2024) — A man hit several times by a hit-and-run driver near Warner Avenue and Halladay Street suffered grave injuries on Tuesday night.
 
According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the hit-and-run accident happened near Delhi Park. For unknown reasons, a driver attempted to run over a male pedestrian walking through a neighborhood. Fortunately, the man was able to escape, but the driver kept chasing the 32-year-old, following him into a parking lot.
 
At the parking lot, the driver ran over the man multiple times before leaving the scene. Soon after, paramedics took the victim to a hospital in grave condition.
 
The next day, officers were able to locate a black Honda Accord with significant front-end damage about two blocks from the crash site. After a brief standoff, police arrested the driver and impounded the car, charging the man with attempted murder.
