Alexis McBride Detained After Striking Man with Vehicle at San Antonio Road and Central Expressway

 
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA (January 5, 2024) — Alexis McBride faces charges after hitting a man with her car at San Antonio Road and Central Expressway.
 
According to reports, the two-car collision happened around 10:30 p.m. on January 2. For unknown reasons, 24-year-old McBride allegedly struck her ex-boyfriend’s vehicle as both were driving on the road. Upon impact, the unidentified man’s car crashed, leading him to exit the vehicle to inspect the damage. However, the Dublin woman accelerated toward him and struck both him and his vehicle.
 
Soon after, McBride left the scene but returned later to find California Highway Patrol officers investigating the crash. Following an investigation, police arrested her on suspicion of attempted murder, hit-and-run and corporal injury to a spouse or co-inhabitant. McBride remains booked into the Santa Clara County Jail at this time.
 
As for the man, he received care at an area hospital. If anyone has more to add to this incident, please call the CHP.
