Car Crashes into Big Rig on Avenue 352 in Tulare County Sends Driver to Hospital

 
TULARE COUNTY, CA (May 9, 2022) – A driver suffered serious injuries after a big rig accident on Avenue 352 in Tulare County, early Wednesday morning.
 
The accident happened a little before 4:00 a.m. on May 3 near Road 36 just south of Traver. According to the California Highway Patrol, a Volkswagen Jetta hit the spray rig being towed by a tractor.
 
As a result, the driver of the Jetta suffered major injuries. Paramedics transported him to Kaweah Health Medical Center for treatment.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the big rig remained on scene and cooperated with authorities.
 
It is unclear if drugs or alcohol was a factor in the crash. CHP officials are still investigating the accident.
