Biker Suffers Injuries after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Main Street in Hesperia

 
HESPERIA, CA (May 9, 2022) – A bicyclist suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash at Main Street and 5th Avenue in Hesperia on Wednesday afternoon.
 
The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. on May 4 just near the corner of the Fast Trip Liquor. According to the Hesperia Police Department, a black mountain bike was hit by an unknown vehicle.
 
When officers arrived, they located the bike near the driveway of the gas station along with the rider down on the ground. The involved vehicle was not found.
 
Paramedics transported the victim to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
 
At this time, the hit-and-run suspect remains at large.
 
Deputies blocked off a stretch of Fifth Avenue while they conducted their investigation. They asked anyone with further information to contact them at 760-947-1500.
