5 Hospitalized after Fresno County Car Accident on Highway 180 near Reed Avenue

 
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (April 11, 2023) – Five people sustained injuries in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 180, Monday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on April 10, at about 8:30 a.m. Due to unknown circumstances, a pickup truck ran a red light. Then, the vehicle collided with a sedan near Reed Avenue.
 
As per reports, two people in the pickup truck and three people in the sedan sustained injuries. All five victims were later transported to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
