Medical Emergency Causes Fatal Crash on Brundage Lane in Bakersfield

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (April 11, 2023) – At least one person was killed in a car accident on Brundage Lane in Bakersfield Friday evening on April 7.
 
The fatal accident happened just before 8:00 p.m. near U Street. According to the Bakersfield Police Department, officers responded to the area where they found three unresponsive people inside a vehicle.
 
Emergency crews performed life-saving aid, but at least one of the patients died at the scene.
 
Police said the driver of the vehicle may have suffered a medical emergency.
 
The coroner’s office withheld the identity of the deceased at this time.
 
An investigation into this fatality is ongoing.
