Pedestrian Dies in Early Morning Crash on Rosecrans Avenue in Gardena

 
GARDENA, CA (September 4, 2022) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident on Rosecrans Avenue in Gardena early Saturday morning, September 3.
 
Around 12:20 a.m., the woman was in the 2800 block of Rosecrans Avenue when a westbound vehicle struck her, according to the Gardena Police Department.
 
Responding paramedics rushed the woman to a hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
 
It was not immediately known if the motorist drove away or stayed at the scene.
 
An investigation is ongoing. The GPD’s Traffic Bureau urged anyone with information about the fatality to call them at 310-217-6189.
