Police Seek Hit-and-Run Driver who Struck Pedestrian at Eight and Carondelet Streets

 
WESTLAKE, CA (October 22, 2022) – A woman was badly injured in a hit-and-run crash at Eight Street and Carondelet Street in the Westlake area earlier this month.
 
The crash happened around 9:50 p.m. on October 1. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a dark-colored, possibly gray, Toyota Tacoma was traveling westbound on Eighth Street when it struck the female pedestrian, who was knocked down by the impact.
 
After the crash, the driver fled the scene without stopping to render aid and identify him or herself.
 
Reponding paramedics took the 22-year-old woman to a hospital for treatment with severe injuries.
 
The city of Los Angeles offered a standing reward of up to $25,000 for information that helps solve this hit-and-run case.
