Pedestrian Suffers Severe Injuries after Hit by Car on Automation Parkway in San Jose

 
SAN JOSE, CA (October 22, 2022) – A woman was severely injured in a pedestrian accident on Automation Parkway in the Berryessa neighborhood of San Jose on Friday morning.
 
The accident happened around 9:37 a.m. on October 14 near Hostetter Road. According to the San Jose Police Department, the female pedestrian was in a parking lot when a car struck her.
 
First responders rushed the woman to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
 
The driver remained on scene and cooperated with police.
 
No alcohol or drug use was suspected, police said. The accident is still under investigation.
