Early Morning Crash Involving 2 Vehicles on Highway 138 in Hesperia Kills 1 Driver

 
HESPERIA, CA (January 22, 2023) – A man was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 138 in Hesperia early Wednesday morning on January 18.
 
The accident happened around 4:21 a.m. near Summit Post Office Road and milepost marker 19.00. According to the California Highway Patrol, blue Ford Explorer and a 2001 Dodge 1500 collided for unknown reasons. The Dodge then lost control, went up a dirt hillside and overturned onto the roadway.
 
The driver of Dodge was ejected and died at the scene. The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office only identified him as a 39-year-old Hesperia man. They will release his name on a later time.
 
Meanwhile, a ground ambulance rushed another person to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with critical injuries.
