31-Year-Old Man Dies after Struck by Vehicle on Citrus Avenue in Fontana

 
FONTANA, CA (September 26, 2023) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on Citrus Avenue in Fontana Thursday evening on September 21.
 
The fatal accident happened around 7:34 p.m. just north of Arrow Boulevard. According to the Fontana Police Department, a vehicle struck the male pedestrian in unclear circumstances.
 
The impact caused the pedestrian significant injuries. Paramedics rushed him to Kaiser Fontana Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:03 p.m.
 
Authorities only identified the victim as a 31-year-old Rialto resident. They withheld his name at this time.
 
It is unknown if the involved driver stayed after the crash. Further investigation is underway.
