NORTH PARK, CA (May 6, 2024) — A pedestrian hit by a car on 30th Street near University Avenue sustained non-life-threatening injuries on Saturday night.
 
According to the San Diego police officers, the pedestrian accident happened around 10:00 p.m. Saturday. For an unknown reason, a 32-year-old man walked against a red light at the University Avenue crosswalk. Subsequently, a northbound driver traveling on 30th Street struck the male pedestrian on the road.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded to the scene and took the injured pedestrian to Scripps Mercy Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Meanwhile, the driver of the 2018 Toyota Camry stayed on site and was not believed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
