Man Killed in Multi-Car Crash at Tully Road in Modesto

 
MODESTO, CA (August 21, 2023) — A man died in a multi-car accident at Tully Road and Briggsmore Avenue.
 
According to the Modesto Police, the fatal multi-car crash happened Saturday at 5:00 p.m. For an unknown reason, an eastbound driver in a GMC Yukon struck another vehicle at Tully Road. Subsequently, the GMC traveled southbound on Tully Road and hit another vehicle, causing the GMC driver to lose control.
 
Due to the impact, the GMC rolled over and ejected the driver, an adult male, from the vehicle.
 
Paramedics responded and quickly shuttled the victim to a hospital, where he died. The occupants of the other vehicle reported minor injuries in the crash.
 
Authorities do not have confirmation on the cause but believe alcohol might have led to the cause. If anyone has seen this crash, please call the Modesto Police.
