35-Year-Old Man Suffers Critical Injuries after Hit by Vehicle on East Port Hueneme Road

 
PORT HUENEME, CA (March 31, 2023) – A man was critically injured in a pedestrian accident on East Port Hueneme Road late Sunday evening on March 26.
 
According to the Port Hueneme Police Department, the 35-year-old Port Hueneme man was walking in the 800 block of East Port Hueneme Road when a vehicle struck him just before 11:00 p.m.
 
Officers found the victim lying in the road, unresponsive. Paramedics took him to Ventura County Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition.
 
The driver of the vehicle stopped and cooperated with police. Witnesses are encouraged to call traffic investigator Henry Montelongo at 805-844-9027.
