GARBERVILLE, CA (May 6, 2024) — At least one person was injured in a hit-and-run accident on Redwood Drive near Highway 101.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the hit-and-run accident happened around 7:30 p.m. Friday. Under unclear circumstances, at least two vehicles crashed on Redwood Drive at the North Freeway Exit to Garberville. Subsequently, the unidentified driver left the scene, failing to identify him or herself.
 
Minutes later, CHP officers and paramedics arrived and assisted one person with unknown injuries. By 8:22 p.m., authorities cleared the road and ushered the victim to a hospital.
