3 Hurt, Car and Officer Collide at Brundage Lane in Bakersfield

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (March 15, 2024) — Three people suffered injuries after a car and a patrol officer crashed at Brundage Lane and Liggett Street.
 
According to Bakersfield Police Department officers, the two-car crash happened around 4:06 p.m. Wednesday. For an unknown reason, a Bakersfield Police Department officer and a driver in a red Hyundai sedan collided near the 10 block of Brundage Lane. As a result, three people suffered injuries in the accident, including the officer.
 
Soon after, officers and paramedics arrived at the scene. During the investigation, authorities learned that the officer was approaching Liggett Street from East Brundage Lane when the Hyundai made a southbound left turn, crashing into the patrol car.
