1 Hurt After 2 Semi-Trucks Collide on Highway 101 in Santa Maria

 
SANTA MARIA, CA (March 15, 2024) — One person suffered minor injuries when 2 semi-trucks crashed on Highway 101 near Clark Avenue.
 
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the double truck collision happened around 2:15 p.m. Thursday. Under unclear circumstances, the two semi-trucks collided near Clark Avenue, a mile south of Orcutt. As a result, one driver suffered minor injuries and required extrication.
 
Minutes later, Santa Barbara Fire Department officials responded, freed the trapped occupant and cared for his injuries. Meanwhile, the other driver reported no injury.
 
At the time of the report, traffic investigators did not say what led to the accident. However, we will provide more updates once we receive news.
