2 Hurt in 2-Car, Rollover Crash at Avenue 50 in Indio

 
INDIO, CA (October 27, 2023) — Two people were injured in a 2-car rollover accident at Avenue 50 and Hjorth Street.
 
According to CalFire, the two-car crash happened Wednesday afternoon. Under unclear circumstances, two vehicles crashed near Mountain Vista Elementary School, causing one car to roll over.
 
Shortly thereafter, firefighter responded and extricated one person trapped in one of the vehicles before taking the victim to a hospital. In addition, paramedics took a second patient to a local hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
 
At the time of the report, traffic investigators had not revealed information on the cause of the accident.
