Boy Killed in 2-Car Crash on Whittram Avenue in Fontana
FONTANA, CA (March 7, 2023) — An 11-year-old boy died in a 2-car accident on Whittram Avenue and Beech Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal two-car crash happened around 7:30 p.m. Saturday. For unknown reasons, an eastbound 2001 Chevrolet driving through the intersection of Whittram Avenue and Beech Avenue collided with a northbound 2021 Honda Civic.
An 11-year-old boy riding in the Honda Civic suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Inside the Honda, a 23-year-old man from West Covina and the 51-year-old female driver both suffered minor injuries, prompting paramedics to bring them to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for care.
As for the 49-year-old man from Fontana operating the Chevrolet, officials reported no details on his injuries.
