Pedestrian Dies after Hit by Sedan along Lundy Avenue in San Jose

 
SAN JOSE, CA (October 17, 2022) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident on Lundy Avenue in San Jose on Thursday evening, October 13.
 
The fatal accident happened around 7:45 p.m. near Sajak Avenue, just east of the San Jose Municipal Golf Course. Police said the woman was crossing the street when a 2010 Toyota Corolla struck her.
 
As a result, the victim suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. Police said she was an older woman.
 
The Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office will release the woman’s identity once her family members are notified.
 
The driver of the Corolla remained on the scene and cooperated with authorities.
 
Alcohol or drugs was a not a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
