Man Hurt in Hit-and-Run Bicycle Crash on La Habra Boulevard in La Habra

 
LA HABRA, CA (August 8, 2022) — A man was injured in a hit-and-run bicycle accident on La Habra Boulevard near Walnut Street on Sunday afternoon.
 
According to the La Habra Police Department, the hit-and-run happened in the 500 block of West La Habra Boulevard around 4:45 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a suspect in a white pickup truck struck the La Habra man on his bicycle. Rather than trying to help the victim, the suspect in the white Chevrolet Silverado fled the scene.
 
Shortly after, paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department reached the area and brought the 53-year-old to a local hospital in critical condition.
