Emmy-Nominated Actress Anne Heche Hospitalized, Crashes into House in Mar Vista

 
MAR VISTA, CA (August 8, 2022) — Actress Anne Heche suffered serious injuries after her car crashed into a home on Walgrove Avenue near Preston Way.
 
According to reports, the single-car accident happened in the 1800 block of South Walgrove Avenue. For unknown reasons, actress Heche was reportedly speeding down Preston Way in her blue Mini Cooper when she crashed into a home moments later.
 
It appears residents tried to get her out of her vehicle minutes prior when she crashed into the garage of an apartment complex nearby.
 
As a result of the accident, a fire erupted with the car still inside the home. Soon after, firefighters with the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived at the scene and extinguished the blaze around 11:30 a.m., which left Heche with serious burns.
 
Firefighters were able to rescue her from the burning car and bring her to a hospital where she remained intubated. Heche is in extreme critical condition.
 
As for the house, authorities reported the dwelling to be structurally compromised with its homeowner shaken up.
