Coroner Identifies Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident on Lasselle Street in Moreno Valley

 
MORENO VALLEY, CA (June 8, 2022) – Isidro Marquez died in a two-vehicle accident in Moreno Valley on Friday afternoon, June 3.
 
The accident happened around 3:37 p.m. near the intersection of Lasselle Street and Copper Cove Lane. According to Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Marquez was driving a white Toyota Sienna southbound on Lasselle. For unknown reasons, he veered into the northbound lanes and collided with a Ford Escape.
 
When first responders arrived, they found Marquez unresponsive inside the Toyota. They rushed him to Riverside University Health Systems Medical Center, where he later died.
 
Marquez was a 61-year-old Moreno Valley resident, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the Ford suffered minor injuries but refused medical treatment at the scene.
 
There were no passengers inside either vehicle.
 
An investigation into this fatal accident is ongoing.
