Woman Dead in DUI Rollover Accident on Highway 1

 
MARINA, CA (September 20, 2021) — A woman died in a DUI rollover crash on Highway 1 at 8th Street, authorities confirmed.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the rollover crash happened in the Marina area around 11:00 am. For DUI-related reasons, a driver heading northbound lost control, which had caused the vehicle to roll over.
 
At some point during the crash, a woman was ejected from the vehicle and suffered life-threatening injuries. Soon after, authorities and paramedics responded and transported the woman to a hospital where she died.
