Authorities Identify Pedestrian Killed in Bloomington Crash on Valley Boulevard near Linden Avenue

 
BLOOMINGTON, CA (April 18, 2021) – Authorities identified the man who died in a pedestrian accident in Bloomington.
 
He was 61-year-old Jimmie Joe Ludwig Sr. of Bloomington, according to the San Bernardino County Fire Department.
 
Around 8:13 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13, emergency personnel were dispatched to Valley Boulevard near Linden Avenue in response to the report of a male pedestrian being struck by a vehicle.
 
When they arrived, they found the 61-year-old Bloomington man with fatal injuries and pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
At this time, it is unknown if alcohol or drugs played a factor in the crash. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
