Fatal Pedestrian Accident Reported on Mission Street in San Francisco

 
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (March 8, 2021) – An elderly woman died in a pedestrian accident on Mission Street on March 2.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near the intersection of Geneva Avenue around 12:53 PM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was crossing the street at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle came and struck her.
 
As a result, the victim died in the incident. Officials only identified her as a 79-year-old woman.
 
The driver stayed on the scene to cooperate with the investigation. At this point, the San Francisco Police Department’s Traffic Company and Traffic Collision Investigation Unit is overseeing the investigation.
