Motorcycle Involved in Crash on Highway 78 in Borrego Springs

 
BORREGO SPRINGS, CA (January 5, 2022) – Police confirmed that one person suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle crash in the 5841 block of Highway 78 on December 29.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Cypress Way shortly after 12:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, a motorcycle was traveling on the highway at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a big rig struck it.
 
As a result, the rider sustained serious injuries in the incident. Crews with the Cal Fire airlifted the victim to the hospital for treatment. As of now, the victim’s condition is not yet available.
 
An investigation into the case is ongoing.
