53-Year-Old Man Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Car on 5 Freeway near Tuxford Street

 
SUN VALLEY, CA (February 20, 2024) – Michelle Bossi was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Sun Valley Monday night on February 19.
 
The fatal accident happened around 6:31 p.m. on 5 Freeway near the Tuxford Street exit. According to the California Highway Patrol, a car struck Bossi on the freeway in unclear circumstances.
 
When officers arrived, they found Bossi’s deceased body at the scene.
 
Bossi was 53 years old, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner’s Office. His city of residence was not immediately known.
 
Officers said the driver of the involved vehicle fled the scene after the crash.
 
An investigation into this fatality is ongoing.
