Two Vehicles Collide on Highway 95 in Blythe Killing at Least One Person
BLYTHE, CA (May 11, 2023) – At least one person was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 95 in an unincorporated area of Riverside County north of Blythe Wednesday morning on May 10.
The accident happened shortly after 8:00 a.m. between Eighth and Fourth avenues. According to the California Highway Patrol, a red Subaru and an unknown vehicle collided, causing one of them to overturn on its roof.
At least one person suffered fatal injuries from the crash and died at the scene.
A dog in one of the vehicles was also killed in the crash.
At this time, the identity of the deceased was not immediately available. It is also unclear if speed, drugs or alcohol contributed to the crash.
Further investigation is underway.
