MURRIETA, CA (January 5, 2024) — A woman was injured in a pedestrian accident on Nutmeg Street and Washington Avenue.
 
According to Murrieta Police, the pedestrian accident happened around 5:53 a.m. Thursday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a female pedestrian on Nutmeg Street. Soon after, Murrieta police officers responded, and medics brought the woman to a hospital. However, her condition was unavailable.
 
At the time of the report, police made no arrests surrounding the crash. Police closed Nutmeg Street in both directions to investigate the scene before reopening it at 9:49 a.m.
