FRESNO, CA (January 5, 2024) — One person hit by a car at Fruit Avenue and Clinton Avenue Wednesday night suffered minor injuries.
 
According to the Fresno Police Department, the pedestrian accident happened around 11:30 p.m. Before the crash, Fresno Police officers say multiple agencies were in pursuit of a car involved in an auto theft. At some point during the chase, police called off the pursuit before the vehicle struck a person at Fruit Avenue and Clinton Avenue.
