SIERRA, CA (January 5, 2024) — Jennie Gomez was arrested in a DUI multi-car accident on Highway 50 near Kyburz.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-car accident happened around 10:30 a.m. Thursday. For DUI-related reasons, 26-year-old Jennie Gomez crashed her Toyota Corolla into a red Dodge Ram. Subsequently, the Toyota collided with a Subaru Forester head-on.
 
Moments later, paramedics arrived and airlifted the Subaru driver to a hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, CHP officers arrested Gomez, of Sacramento, for DUI and hit-and-run.
 
Following the accident, authorities closed the highway to investigate before reopening it around 1:00 p.m. If anyone has more information on this accident, please call the CHP.
