Woman Attempts to Carjack Another Woman, Rams Cars in Agoura Hills and Injuring 2 People

 
AGOURA HILLS, CA (April 7, 2023) – Two people were hurt after an attempted carjacking incident on Kanan Road in Agoura Hills Friday afternoon on March 31.
 
Sheriff’s deputies said a woman tried to carjack another woman in a grocery store parking lot where she ended up ramming several cars. The victim called out for help as the car quickly reversed.
 
Detectives said the 27-year-old woman tried to steal the victim’s purse. As she was pulling the purse, the victim was also pulled from the car.
 
The suspect then hopped in, and tried to drive off, but she could not because a device believed to be a club was on the steering wheel.
 
Two people were hurt in all of this and both were treated at the scene.
 
The incident is still under investigation.
