Chace Bailey Detained, Child Injured in DUI Crash on Joaquin Gully Road near Cherokee Drive

 
TUOLUMNE COUNTY, CA (April 29, 2024) — Chace Bailey faces DUI charges following an accident on Joaquin Gully Road near Cherokee Drive.
 
According to reports, the single-car crash happened on April 22 around 10:20 p.m. For DUI reasons, 27-year-old Bailey lost control of her eastbound 2023 Mazda3. At about 55 mph, her vehicle left the road and struck a tree.
 
Shortly after, California Highway Patrol officers arrived and located a 3-year-old who was not properly restrained in the vehicle. The child suffered minor injuries in the accident while Bailey, who appeared intoxicated, evaded injury.
 
Fortunately, the child was released to a sober party for her safety, and police arrested Bailey for being under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.
