Redlands Man Dies after Struck by Vehicle near Otoe and Wyandot Roads

 
APPLE VALLEY, CA (April 7, 2023) – Adrian Vasquez was hit and killed by a vehicle in the predawn hours of Sunday in Apple Valley.
 
The fatal crash happened around 4:53 a.m. on April 2, near Otoe Road and Wyandot Road. According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office, a man driving a Dodge Journey was traveling east on Otoe Road while Vasquez was in the eastbound lane of the same road.
 
The driver of the Dodge did not see Vasquez and hit him east of Wyandot Road, sheriff’s officials said.
 
Vasquez suffered major injuries and died at the scene. He was 33 years old from Redlands.
 
The driver of the Dodge was uninjured. He remained on scene and cooperated with police.
