One Injured in Road Rage Crash on 15 Freeway at Foothill Boulevard in Rancho Cucamonga

 
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (March 10, 2022) – Police confirmed that a road rage ended in a crash on southbound 15 Freeway on March 3.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Foothill Boulevard around 1:06 PM.
 
Based on a report, a Toyota Scion Tc and a gray Mitsubishi Lancer were traveling at high rates of speed down the freeway. Prior to that, an occupant from one of the vehicles threw a water bottle. Subsequently, both vehicles ended up hitting each other before spinning and crashing into the center divider. In the end, the Scion caught fire in the incident.
 
Fortunately, everybody was able to get out safely and then began arguing. Paramedics sent a young boy in the Mitsubishi to a local hospital for treatment of injuries to the head.
 
CHP temporarily blocked the two left lanes for over an hour for the cleanup.
 
At this point, the cause of the collision remains unclear. Also, an investigation is still ongoing.
 
Give way to reckless drivers to avoid an accident. Above all, stay in your lane and never swerve in and out of lanes. In addition, never drink before driving and just follow road regulations.
