One Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Redwood Road in Castro Valley

 
CASTRO VALLEY, CA (March 10, 2022) — One person died in a motorcycle accident on Redwood Road near Marciel Road on Saturday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal motorcycle crash happened around 4:43 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a person operating a Suzuki GSXR motorcycle crashed in the East Bay Hills.
 
Soon after, authorities and paramedics responded to the scene near Chabot Regional Park and summoned the Alameda County coroner’s office shortly after.
 
The person involved in the crash died. However, the person’s name has yet to be released.
 
At this time, investigators plan to examine this crash closely to identify what had happened. Therefore, anyone with information should call the CHP.
