Woman Dies after Two Vehicles Collide on West Pico Boulevard near Stearns Drive

 
WEST LOS ANGELES, CA (September 29, 2023) – A pedestrian was killed in a two-vehicle accident on West Pico Boulevard in the Carthay neighborhood of West Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a white Chevrolet pickup truck and a black Mercedes-Benz SUV collided around 1:35 p.m. in the 6000 block of West Pico Boulevard near Stearns Drive.
 
The pickup truck then crashed through a glass door of Sinai Adult Day Health Care, a facility associated with Kaiser Permanente.
 
After it crashed into the lobby, it also struck a female staff member in her 60s and a 91-year-old male client.
 
Firs responders rushed both the client and the employee to a hospital.
 
The woman did not survive and was declared dead. The man was in stable condition.
 
At this time, the crash is still under investigation.
