Vehicle Fatally Strikes Pedestrian on South El Dorado Street in French Camp

 
FRENCH CAMP, CA (February 7, 2024) – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident at South El Dorado Street and French Camp Road early Monday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 4:55 a.m. on February 5. According to the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle struck the pedestrian who was walking in the area.
 
First responders found the involved vehicle disabled on the roadway.
 
The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. The victim’s identity was not immediately available.
 
At this time, it is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor. The circumstances of the fatality remain under investigation.
