Multi-Vehicle Accident on Feather River Boulevard in Olivehurst Leaves At Least One Person Dead

 
OLIVEHURST, CA (February 28, 2024) – At least one person was killed in a multi-vehicle accident on Feather River Boulevard in Olivehurst Monday evening.
 
The fatal accident happened around 7:56 p.m. on February 26. According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Nissan Altima and three other vehicles collided for unknown reasons. The impact caused the Nissan to come to rest into a field.
 
As the rescue and recovery efforts continued, two other vehicles were found down an embankment.
 
Details regarding the circumstances of the crash were not immediately known, but officers confirmed at least one fatality as a result.
 
The identity of the deceased was withheld at this time.
 
CHP has also not released information about the number of casualties or injuries sustained in the crash.
 
An investigation is underway.
