Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Car on San Juan Road in South Natomas

 
SOUTH NATOMAS, CA (February 28, 2024) – A man was hit and killed by a car at San Juan Road and Airport Road near the South Natomas area on Monday night.
 
The fatal crash happened around 6:30 p.m. on February 26. According to the Sacramento Police Department, a vehicle struck the male pedestrian who was crossing the street.
 
A fire personnel tried to save the victim, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
The driver involved stayed and cooperated with police.
 
At this time, the identity of the victim was not immediately available.
 
Police asked anyone with information on the crash to call the police dispatch center at 916-808-5471.
