Multi-Vehicle Accident on 15 Freeway in Mountain Pass Kills One Person

 
MOUNTAIN PASS, CA (March 10, 2024) – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle accident on 15 Freeway in Mountain Pass early Friday morning on March 8.
 
The fatal accident happened around 2:11 a.m. near the Primm Valley Golf Course, several miles from the NV/CA Stateline. According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Volkswagen sedan, a black sedan, a gray Lexus and a semi truck collided along the northbound freeway.
 
After the crash, only one person was able to exit from the damaged vehicles.
 
Responding emergency personnel pronounced one person dead at the scene.
 
At this time, the coroner’s office withheld the victim’s identity pending family notification.
 
The exact cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
