Bicyclist Dies after Struck by Motorcycle on Hamilton Avenue in San Jose

 
SAN JOSE, CA (March 10, 2024) – A woman was killed in a bicycle accident on Hamilton Avenue in San Jose Thursday night on March 7.
 
According to the San Jose Police Department, the woman was riding her bicycle outside of a marked crosswalk when she was struck by a 2018 black Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle around 6:43 p.m. in the 4400 block of Hamilton Avenue.
 
Paramedics arrived and rushed the woman to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
 
On March 10, the woman was pronounced dead. The Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office will release her identity after confirmation and notification of next of kin.
 
The motorcyclist remained on scene and cooperated with police.
 
Alcohol and drugs did not appear to be a factor in the crash, which is under investigation.
