Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with Truck on Greenback Lane in Citrus Heights

 
CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA (September 6, 2023) – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident on Greenback Lane in Citrus Heights Monday morning on September 4.
 
The fatal accident happened just after 11:00 a.m. near Sunrise Boulevard. According to the Citrus Heights Police Department, the victim was riding their motorcycle when they collided with a truck.
 
When officers arrived, they located the motorcycle and the truck with significant damage.
 
The motorcyclist was rushed to a hospital, where they later succumbed to their injuries. The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s identity once family members are notified.
 
Meanwhile, the driver and passenger of the truck were unharmed. Both remained on scene and cooperated with police.
