Head-On Crash on Highway 32 in Chico Leaves One Injured

 
CHICO, CA (December 15, 2023) – One person was injured in a head-on accident on Highway 32 in Chico Tuesday morning on December 12.
 
The accident happened just after 9:00 a.m. at Kennedy Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, a red pickup truck wanted to make a left turn and stopped in the left turn lane. The driver thought he saw a break in traffic and turned directly into an older Lincoln vehicle. The vehicles then collided head-on.
 
As a result of the crash, the driver of the Lincoln sustained injuries on his knees and his neck.
 
The passenger of the Lincoln and the driver of the truck were unharmed.
