Motorcyclist Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Roscoe Boulevard in Northridge

 
NORTHRIDGE, CA (May 29, 2023) – A motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Roscoe Boulevard in Northridge late Saturday afternoon on May 27.
 
The fatal crash happened around 5:40 p.m. at Yolanda Avenue. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a dark-colored BMW sedan was traveling eastbound on Roscoe Boulevard when it made a left turn at Yolanda Avenue. It then struck the motorcyclist who was going west on Roscoe.
 
After the crash, the driver of the BMW drove away without rendering aid.
 
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities only described him as a man in his 30s.
