Ignacio Razo Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Highway 119 [Bakersfield, CA]

33-Year-Old Man Dies after Struck by Vehicle on Highway 119 near Hughes Lane

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (May 30, 2023) – Ignacio Alejandro Razo was killed in a pedestrian accident in Bakersfield on May 15.
 
The fatal accident happened around 10:07 p.m. on Highway 119 just east of Hughes Lane. According to the California Highway Patrol, Razo was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
 
As a result, Razo suffered severe injuries. He was rushed to Kern Medical, where he died at 12:27 the next day. He was a 33-year-old Bakersfield resident, according the Kern County Coroner’s Office.
 
The CHP is still investigating the circumstances of the crash.
