Motorcycle Rider Dies in Hit-and-Run Crash on Avenue K in Lancaster

 
LANCASTER, CA (April 17, 2024) — A motorcycle rider died in a hit-and-run accident on Avenue K near 42nd Street on Monday.
 
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the fatal hit-and-run happened around 9:40 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a motorcyclist lost control of his vehicle and crashed on Avenue K. Afterward, the impact hurled him off his bike and onto the road.
 
Shortly after, a driver of a white sedan traveling at an unknown speed struck him before leaving the scene. The suspect did not identify him or herself.
 
Following the incident, Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department deputies arrived to investigate yet only to find the driver with fatal injuries.
